Hi, I’m Katie Mellott.
I’m Creative Director of SCC. I’ve been in the marketing profession since 2013, specializing in branding, SEO, social media strategy, project management, and much more.

Our company, Shared Culture Concepts, began in 2016 with a wide variety of clients; plumbers, dermatologists, realtors, psychologists, and others. Due to my personal involvement with aerial arts, SCC quickly grew to specialize in performing arts clients. At the height of our involvement, 75% of our clients were movement artists: yogis, contortionists, studio owners, aerialists, dancers, and coaches.

Now we have downsized and only take on a few select clients at a time.

I love building relationships of trust. It’s very rewarding to facilitate positive solutions and support clients in their needs. I love the creative aspect of building and developing a business.

During my spare time I am training or teaching aerial arts on rope, silks, lyra, and trapeze.

I am married to my best friend André, and I am a native Oregonian. It is such a gorgeous place to enjoy outdoors. I love to go biking and hiking whenever possible. I also love to travel. I have two kiddos who are both technically adults!
